With pay-TV providers, broadcasters, content publishers and online video providers all trying out such new delivery platforms as IP video, cloud-based video, OTT video and 4K/UHD, securing those advanced video services and protecting them from theft are more essential than ever. But, because of the heavy bandwidth demands of these services and the greater technical challenges of delivering them to consumers, securing next-gen video content is much easier said than done. In this special Light Reading breakfast roundtable session, experts from the various segments of the TV industry will tackle the challenges of protecting new video services from prying eyes and delivering them securely to their target audience.
Light Reading is staging this special breakfast roundtable session at NAB this year to help fill the void left by the demise of the INTX/Cable Show, thereby providing a fresh new forum for cable and video technologists to discuss and debate pressing issues. We expect the roundtable to attract a critical mass of these technologists, who have either not attended the NAB Show before or have started attending the show in recent years.
This event is FREE to all registrants of the NAB show. Pre-registration is preferred.
Not registered for NAB? You can register for free entrance to the exhibit floor only using the discount code NE08 on the NAB page.
